Product description:

Electroluminescent Panels are made of a multi layer material containing fluorescent dyes, dispersed in a binder with a high electrical constant. When an alternating current (AC) is applied, the EL Panel (sheet) emits light. EL Panels emit light from 50VAC and increase in brightness AC with higher voltage up to 200VAC. The frequency should be over 50Hz. Brightness increases with higher frequency up to 1000Hz. However we recommend that frequencies in the range of 400-600Hz and voltages of no greater than 160VAC are used, otherwise the parallel panels life will rapidly deteriorate.

Animated multi EL panel displays: Whilst the production method is more technical than tradition shaped EL Panels, we offer multi EL Panel animation for point of sale, advertising applications, retail display etc., please contact us for more information regarding Animated EL Panel displays.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

We provide a year limited warranty on its electroluminescent products. This includes the electroluminescent panel, inverter unitand connection cables. Batteries are not covered by this warranty.

Within the period of 1 year, starting from the date of goods received by the purchaser, but excluding the incorrectly mounted and improperly operated and maintained units and/or natural disaster, we will replace any components which do not perform to specification by reason of manufacturer’s defect free of charge upon receipt of all defective components returned back to manufacturer for inspection, verification, and validation of claim.

As lifespan of the EL light is determined by so many factors, including proper care and handling, we make no specific claim or warranty as to the lifespan of the strength of illumination of an EL product.

Proper maintenance and handling of EL materials and inverters

The electroluminescent products are sealed in moisture protected laminate. This laminate also makes it moisture resistant. If the EL products are used outside, they should be mounted in some transparent extrusion to protect them from the elements. This extrusion should be designed such that moisture would not become trapped in the enclosure or channeled to the power supply.

The inverter/power supply must not be exposed to the elements, immersed in water, etc. The inverter is a high-voltage device that must be treated in the manner and with the same precautions as any other electrical appliance.

The EL material must not be operated in direct sunlight without proper UV-blocking film laminate. This laminate must be applied at the factory, during the production process in order to be covered by warranty. The Animated EL warranty does not cover unprotected products that are operated in direct sunlight.

Inverter cables must not be wound, constricted, wrapped, crimped, crushed, pinched or otherwise adversely treated.

EL panels must not be folded or creased and care must be taken not to fatigue the jumper strips that connect the various animated segments.

 

Payment Terms: All orders require full payment before shipping.

The initial 50% was paid with the order as deposit to begin manufacturing. The customer will be required to pay the remaining balance of the total contract value before the manufacturer will release the product. We will ship the product to the destination designated by the customer. The customer has the option of pre-payment of the shipping charges to us, or paying for the delivery charges upon receipt of shipment.
