Product Description
Single axis solar tracker is a device that orients a payload toward the sun. It can track sun in east-west direction. It is suitable for lower latitudes with high sun height angle. Its power generation efficiency is 30% higher than fixed sun panel tracking. The solar tracking system can be installed at ground level or roof. Single axis solar tracker includes, mounting bracket for solar cell panel, horizontal shaft, rotation drive mechanism, wind speed detection device and tracking controller. Single axis solar tracker has one degree of freedom that acts as an axis of rotation. The axis of rotation of single axis trackers is typically aligned along a true North meridian. It is possible to align them in any cardinal direction with advanced tracking algorithm.
