Product Overview
Specially colored, suitable for the desired technical specifications, rubber-based, special length PVC water stop tape production is made in our factory.
It is mandatory to leave joints at some points of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. The joints left in some parts in order to prevent damage to the structure due to expansion and collapse in reinforced concrete building elements are defined as expansion joints. When the cement used in the building completes its setting, it is necessary to leave an expansion joint in order to prevent the deformation that may occur due to the decrease in the volume from damaging the structure.
As it is known, the expansion and creep movements in the structures are not negligible and are constantly repeated movements. On the other hand, the joints that are left in the place where the concrete casting is stopped for a while and then restarted and arranged vertically in the direction of the pressure stresses are defined as construction joints. Joints arranged in the structure due to thermal expansions or ground movements show contraction. These types of joints are described as contraction joints.
