The bottle is made in collaboration with two Calabrian designers who tell stories and products of the Madeo supply chain with 6 different graphic subjects. The oil belongs to the Madeo "Territory" Line, a multicultivar of three indigenous varieties, cold-pressed, green, fragrant and perfect to combine with different dishes.
All our bottles are available in two sizes: 250 ML and 500 ML

The extra virgin olive oil
Our oil is obtained exclusively from the precious varieties of olives: Dolce di Rossano, Roggianella e Carolea selected and handled according to the classic method of cold pressing.
The hand picking
The harvest is early, carried out during the first maturation of the olives (second half of September, first half of October), when fruits are bright green, still attached to the tree. It takes place by hand, with the beating method, and through special collection nets. This allows us to always have healthy fruits with the best organoleptic characteristics.
Olives harvested and pressed within 24 hours
After the harvest, the olives are immediately transported to the oil mill, to preserve all the integrity of the fruit and avoid any type of alteration. This process allows to obtain an oil with excellent organoleptic characteristics and an extraordinary quality.
Owned oil mill
The defoliated fruits are crushed with granite mills, whose slow rotation guarantees a perfect homogeneity of the paste. Each olive is processed in the very modern family plant, through a continuous three-phase extraction; in this way it is possible to guarantee a higher yield both in terms of quantity of polyphenols and oleic acid, and in consistency of the typical aromas and flavors of the fruit.

Family: The Madeo Food Company was founded thanks to the intuition and passion of a young Calabrian businessman, Ernesto Madeo, who established the first pig farm with his family in 1984. After 30 years of business, the tradition has stayed strong thanks to the arrival of the second generation.
Staff: The Madeo family consists of about 100 people who are working together with great zeal and passion. The whole credibility and future of the company lies in their expert hands and their intuition.
