What is Agodashi (Dried Flying Fish)?




Flying fish is called “ago” in Japanese.
Dashi of dried flying fish is called “agodashi,” and agodashi have a refined taste and flavor.
We have 3 different types of agodashi products: tsuyu (liquid type), dashinomoto (soup stock powder), and dashi pack.
3 types of agodashi products can be used in various dishes from miso soup to simmered dishes.
Agodashi goes well with all kind of noodles, especially ramen.

■Agodashi Tsuyu (Flying Fish Flavor)




・Concentrated tsuyu made with roasted and dried ago, katsuo, saba, and konbu.
・The rich flavor of roasted ago, the scent of katsuo, and the umami of saba and konbu are added
 to create an elegant yet tasty tsuyu.
・Extracted from in-house roasted ago and two types of original ago extracts are well blended
 to enhance the savory flavor.

■Baishou Ago Dashinomoto




・Dashinomoto, known as a soup stock powder, with ago flavor.
・We roast (Baishou) dried ago to enrich savory flavor.

・Packing Description
 Easy-to-use single package of 80g per bag,
 The amount can be easily adjusted according to your preference.
 Double packaging with aluminum inner bag and zipper makes it easy to store after opening.

■Washokuno Chikara Agodashi Pack




・Dashi pack is a great way of making dashi. It is convenient and produces flavorful dashi.
・Agodashi pack includes ago, katsuo, and roasted ago.
・As this product is already seasoned with powdered soy sauce and salt,
 so you do not have to put seasoning.
・Simply put a one pack of this product into water and simmer it for 3 minutes after boiling.
 Easily make an authentic dashi.

■Recipes





Tsuyu is suitable for making broth for any kind of noodles such as udon and soba just adding a cup of hot water according to your preferences.
Moreover, seasoning for karaage (Japanese-style fired chicken) is also recommended just by adding 15ml of tsuyu for 100g of chicken.




Dashinomoto is best fit with making miso soup just mix with hot water and adjusting miso according to your preferences.
Moreover, seasoning for fried rice and pasta is also recommend.
