12" Traffic Cone | Used for indoor and outdoor applications. Indoors you may see these cones used in areas like work areas in a building or slippery floors. Outdoors these cones are most often used in parking lots. | ||||||
18" Traffic Cone | 18 inches is the minimum height required for street usage. These cones are typically used outdoors in street work areas, like line painting or other areas needing delineation. | ||||||
28" Traffic Cone | 28 inches is the minimum height required for freeway and highway applications. Highway cones must include reflective striping. | ||||||
36" Traffic Cone | Also used in freeway and highway applications and again should include reflective striping. | ||||||
Traffic Cone Different Color means: (listed from highest degree of danger to least, it´s just for your reference):
1. Red Traffic Cones-Danger. Red connotes imminent danger with the chance of serious injury or death.
2. Orange Traffic Cones-Warning. The color Orange means there is a potential danger of serious injury or death.
3. Yellow Traffic Cones-Caution. Yellow also portends potential danger, but, the risk is lessened to general injury.
4. Kelly Green Traffic Cones-Safety Equipment. Used in first-aid stations that feature emergency information, eye wash or other safety equipment. Green is also commonly used at athletic events, especially track and field.
