Water resistant cement calciferous plaster with polymer additives

 

Dry building mixture based on cement binder, quartz aggregate and special functional additives. It is used for one-layer leveling of walls or as a "cover" layer in multi-layer plastering systems, indoors and outdoors, including balconies, facades, plinths. It is allowed to use for leveling ceilings, wooden bases, old tiles and paint with the obligatory use of a metal mesh. The resulting surface is intended for subsequent leveling with a finishing putty, for gluing wallpaper or tiles, as well as for touch-up. Used for manual and machine application. Convenience of application and the possibility of laying in one layer reduce the labor intensity of the work and shorten the time for putting the facility into operation. After drying, a strong, crack-resistant, vapor-permeable, water and frost-resistant layer is formed, suitable for use in rooms with any humidity and in the open air.

 

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate must be free of fragile particles and dirt (laitance, oil stains, fragile paint, etc.) and free from dust. Smooth surfaces need to be roughened. Cleaning and roughening is usually done mechanically by milling, grinding, or shot blasting, followed by vacuuming. Cracks, potholes and seams must be pre-filled with a suitable repair mortar; oil, grease, bitumen stains must be mechanically removed or sealed with suitable compounds; pre-level large irregularities and differences in height with this material or other suitable compounds. Set the required floor level by installing guide beacons or spot marks. Mark the locations based on construction and expansion joints. When pouring a continuous layer with a thickness of more than 30 mm, form an expansion joint with a width of at least 8-10 mm around the perimeter of the room by gluing a damping tape made of foamed polyethylene or by installing wooden or plastic inserts. To increase adhesion to the substrate (adhesion), improve flow and reduce the likelihood of craters and cracks on the finished surface, apply a coat of primer. It is recommended to apply 2 coats of the primer. A well-prepared surface should be smooth, shiny, without dry matte spots.
