Container Loading Supervision(CLS)
Container Loading Supervision(CLS)is a very important step for the importer to make sure the correct cargos are delivered. Before
the cargos loaded into the container, the inspector will make the visual inspection to make sure the cargos are the correct items
with correct quantities. The status of packing of cargos are inspected. The condition of containers are inspected, the container
number and seal number be recorded into the CLS report. The cargos are loaded into the container under the supervision of
inspector. The goods must be loaded into container as per requirements of customer (if applicable). The inspector witness the
closing of door of container and sealed. General photos of packing and general photo of product will be taken by inspector.
Normally, the below items are covered in QCIC's CLS inspection report:
Merchandise information of cargos loaded into each container: Item number with lot quantity/pallet quantity/cartons quantity;
Condition of each container; Container number and seal number; Time of loading; Defects/ Remarks/Observations detected during
loading supervision.
A draft report is issued to the factory once the CLS inspection is completed. QCIC guarantees that the formal report will be
delivered to customer within 24hours after the completion of the inspection.
