 Spraying Degreaser IC-5063

IC-5063 spray degreaser is a phosphorus free, environmentally friendly, low foaming liquid cleaning agent at room temperature, with strong abilities in decontamination, ash removal, dispersion, and penetration. It is composed of a mixture of various surfactants, solvents, and additives. This product does not contain harmful ingredients such as halogens, phosphorus, sulfur, etc., and is suitable for spray and ultrasonic degreasing cleaning of steel products in the pre-treatment process; It has various advantages such as convenient use, simple management, low temperature and low foaming, short degreasing time, and significant oil removal and cleaning effect.

II. Treatment method and Notes

   1. Treatment Ratio 5%, increase ratio according to oil dirty, generally speaking, it will not more than 10%.

   2. Treatment Temperature:  Room temperature to 55℃

   3. Treatment Method: Spaying, ultrasonic

   4. Treatment Time:  3-5 min

   5. Supplement degreaser according to Treatment Ratio when using.

IV. Detection method

  1. Free Alkalinity Detection :

Take 10 ml degreasing fluid to the conical flask, and add 50 ml distilled water and phenolphthalein indicator of 3 to 5 drops. Titrate above-mentioned solution by 0.1 N sulfuric acid standard solution from red to colorless. The quantity (ml) of 0.1 N sulfuric acid is called the points of free alkalinity.

 2. Total Alkalinity Detection

Take 10 ml degreasing fluid to the conical flask, and add 50 ml distilled water and bromophenol blue indicator of 1 to 2 drops. Titrate above-mentioned solution by 0.1 N sulfuric acid standard solution from blue to yellow. The quantity (ml) of 0.1 N sulfuric acid is called the points of total alkalinity.

V. Parameters Control

In 1000L degreasing solution ,  add 15KG degreaser IC-5063, which can increase one free alkalinity.

 When Total alkalinity / Free Alkalinity is more than 2.5, change part of degreasing solution or all degreasing solution.

VI Wast Water Treatment

Comply with local regulations for “handling and releasing chemicals,” “chemical handling requirements” .  Degreasing solution is  alkaline, no phosphate component.
