Acrylic acid, is a kind of organic compounds, chemical formula C3H4O2, colorless liquid, pungent smell, miscible with water, can be miscible in ethanol, ether. Active chemical properties, easy polymerization in the air, hydrogenation can be reduced to propionic acid, and hydrogen chloride addition to generate 2-chloropropionic acid, mainly used for the preparation of acrylic resin.
