Biological safety cabinet or microbiological safety cabinet is an enclosed, ventilated laboratory workspace for safely working with materials contaminated with (or potentially) pathogens requiring a defined biosafety level. Lab1st BSC-series cabinet is to serve as a tool to protect the laboratory researchers and the environment from particulate and aerosol hazards. All exhaust air is HEPA-filtered as it exits the biosafety cabinet, removing harmful bacteria and viruses, and discharging them directly into the laboratory, or into an exhaust system through the optional Canopy Connection.Lab1st Biological Safety Cabinets provide personnel, product and environmental protection.
