Water level meters are used to measure the depth of water in wells, boreholes, and standpipes. Our Electronic Water level Meters Series use sound waves to measure the water level. The sound waves are sent from a transmitter to a receiver. The time it takes for the sound waves or ultrasonic waves to travel from the transmitter to the receiver is then used to calculate the water level.

Work Principle
The water level measurement system has two parts: underground components and a ground receiver-ruler water level meter. The underground components, which include the water level pipe and bottom cover, are not included in the system and must be bought separately.
The receiver system has a sounder and indicator light. The green test button on the panel turns on the light and buzzer when pressed to show that the circuit is working.
The ground receiver-ruler water level meter has a probe, ruler cable, receiver system, and cable reel. The probe has a water-resistant contact point that turns the receiver system on when it touches water and off when it leaves the water.
The ruler cable is made of a ruler and cable held together with plastic technology to prevent corrosion and make it easier to read measurements accurately.

Maintenance
Because the system use battery to supply power, so when you finish test,you should keep it power off.Power supply is 9V,when it has no power,you should open the cover and change it. After measurement, please keep the detect head and cable clean, cable rolled in cable reel. And put them in a good condition. Unauthorized disassembly of the product, it can not put in water horizontally,the cable cannot bucking,especially the ends. The detect head should carry and put softly and avoid vibration.

2. Place the probe into the underground water pipe
3. Hold the ruler cable in your hand and slowly lower it into the pipe.
4. When the probe contacts the water, the receiver system’s buzzer will sound. If the surrounding noise is too loud to hear the buzzer, you can observe the indicator light and voltage meter instead. If the light and buzzer don’t turn on, there may be a problem with the circuit or battery.
