Function of yarn steaming machine:

The steam machine mainly uses the condition to stabilize the yarn twist process. After winding the yarn, it can prevent kinking and looping during relaxation and avoid weft shrinkage and other defects of the fabric. After winding, the fiber in the yarn is stretched and produces internal stress against winding, which makes the yarn twist unstable. Increasing temperature or moisture recovery can weaken the interaction between large molecules of fiber, relax fiber, eliminate the internal stress of resistance to twisting, and achieve the purpose of yarn twisting stability. There are three ways to twist yarn:

-By using the natural moisture absorption method of a steamer, the tube or tube yarn is stored in a relatively high humidity chamber for about 24 hours, allowing it to naturally absorb moisture and then twist. The advantages of this method are that the yarn is not easily stained, the tube is not easily deformed, and the fabric width is relatively stable. However, the disadvantages of this method are long storage time, large floor area, and large yarn reserve. This method is commonly used for cotton, linen, wool, and other yarns

The double wetting method is to immerse the pipe or bobbin yarn directly in water and store it for a fixed time to improve the moisture recovery rate of the yarn. In order to accelerate water penetration into the yarn layer, an appropriate amount of penetrant can be added to the water. Common penetrating agents are Turkey red oil, open powder and so on. This method has the advantages of simple equipment, short twisting time and reduced yarn reserve, but the surface of pipe yarn and barrel yarn is easy to stain, wood weft is easy to deform, and the amplitude of blank weaving is unstable. Suitable for cotton, silk, wool and other yarn.

The pipe yarn or bobbin yarn stack is placed in the special steam yarn yarn, and heated to wet according to the temperature, pressure and time of the ingot treasure, and then cooled - fixed time, or the yarn tube or bobbin yarn is placed in the steam room and wet with steam. The quality of heat and humidity fixing is stable, and the temperature and humidity can be automatically controlled. The labor intensity of workers is low and the fixing time is short. But the temperature inside the steam machine must be changed according to the yarn raw material \\ twist size and roll form. Steamed yarn pot is suitable for pure spinning of synthetic fibers such as polyester or blending with other natural fibers. Wool yarn is often wetted by steam spray. The shrinkage of yarn after winding varies with the type of fiber.
