Our Defaico develop some forged style furniture now, including chair, lounge chair, side table, console. And we also accept furniture customization on forged furniture.
What is forged furniture?
(1) Forged furniture is the furniture with sculptural works on metal frame.
(2) There is rustic sensibility on the hand-forged metal. Artisans hand hammer the metal to reveal the organic, imperfect and alive texture. Most of forged chairs or lounges are with tailored upholstery and slender tapered legs. And also available in leather.
(3) This unique forged sculpture style matched with our vintage leather or fabric makes this kind of furniture looks more antique. Tables with volakas white marble makes this kind of tables looks a little modern and vintage at the mean time.
Characteristic of forged furniture:
(1) Reinforced joinery with corner blocking and mortise-and tenon construction.
(2) Frame handcrafted of kiln-dried solid hardwood.
(3) Sinuous spring suspension.
(4) Forged of solid metal and hammered by hand. Most of our workers are the ones who have more than 15 years’ experience in forged field.

To minimize fading, avoid placing in direct sunlight. Wipe metal with a sofa and dry cloth, avoid the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning material.

Thickness of leather is approximately 1.0-1.2mm. And there are more than 30 color options to meet clients’ different requirements.
