Black snail tea, or Hong Jing luo cha, or Red golden snail, Yunnan black tea, referred to as Dianhong. It is produced in Lincang, Pu'er, Baoshan, Fengqing, Xishuangbanna, Dehong and other places in the South and southwest of Yunnan Province. The peaks in the area of origin fluctuate, with an average altitude of more than 1000 meters.

 

 

Tasting and brewing

The aroma of Dian hong black snail is fruity, with hints of pine, dried plum and floweriness (but not at all as floral as Darjeeling tea) which creates the very distinctive and balanced taste. It also displays a hint of orchid fragrance and a recognizable sweetness.
