SBS thermoplastic elastomer: is styrene - butadiene - styrene three segment copolymer, also known as thermoplastic styrene butadiene styrene block copolymer or thermoplastic, referred
to as SBS. After cooling to room temperature,the polystyrensegments aggregate into a glassy microdomain, which acts as a physical cross-linking point for the polybutadiene segments, thereby rendering the material behaving as rubber. So called thermoplastic elastomer". Depending on the synthesis

SBS is widely used in various industry applications such as footwear and compounds, modification of asphalt and plastics, adhesives, and so on.
1, SBS molded products mainly used for shoe (sole) industry. 2, extruded products are mainly used hose and tape.
3, as a resin modifier, a small amount of SBS were polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS) Blend can significantly improve the low temperature properties of the article, and impact strength.
4, SBS as a binder with the characteristics of a high content of solids, fast drying, low temperature.
5, SBS as asphalt and road construction bitumen modifiers can be significantly improved weathering resistance and load performance of asphalt.
