  MEASURING METHODS: The digital caliper uses upper and lower jaws and a long handle to easily measure the internal diameter, external diameter, depth and step measurement. 4 measurement methods to meet your different needs, suitable for measuring jewelry, devices, hardware, woodworking, etc.

  
  

Measurement Modes:

1) Measure External or length of an object with the two long jaws. By clamping the object between the two parallel sides of the long jaws and fixing it in place.

2) Measure Internal of objects with the two short jaws. Put the two short jaws inside the subject roll the thumb roller to against the subjects inner diameter.

3) Measure the Depth of objects with the long probe on the end of the caliper. Put the probe into the objects inner part and roll the thumb roller to measure it’s depth.

4) Measure the Step with the two short jaws. Set the caliper vertically on the surface roller the thumb roller until the upper short jaws’ lower section is parallel to the step.

 There is a screw on the back of digital caliper, it is easy to replace the battery.
