Product Description
Beta-mannanase is a hemicellulose hydrolytic enzyme that degrades the beta-1, 4-glycoside bond in an end cleaved manner. The non-reductive end of the degradation product is mannose oligosaccharide, and its functional substrates include beta-mannan, galactomannan and grape mannan.
Beta-mannanase can degrade the beta-mannanase, reduce the viscosity of the contents of the digestive tract, destroy the cell wall structure of the plant feed, and the degradation product mannan-oligosaccharide can improve the microbial flora of the intestinal tract and improve the integrity of the intestinal mucosa.
Enzyme Activity Definition
1 unit (U) of β-mannanase is defined as the amount of enzyme, which degrade 5 mg/mL of LBG (Locust bean gum, Sigma: G0753) solution to 1 μmol of reducing sugar per min at 37℃ and pH3.5
