Introduction
Polyethylene resin is avirulent, tasteless white powder or particle, appearance is milky white, feel like wax, water absorption rate is low, less than 0.01%. The polyethylene film is transparent and decreases with the increase of crystallinity. Polyethylene film has low water permeability but high air permeability, which is not suitable for fresh packaging and moisture-proof packaging. The flammability and oxygen index is 17.4, low smoke when burning, a few melting drops, the flame is yellow on the top and blue on the bottom, and has the smell of paraffin. Polyethylene has better water resistance. The surface of the product is non-polar, difficult to bond and print, and improved by surface treatment. The branched chain has poor resistance to photodegradation and oxidation.
Application
The molding methods such as injection molding, blow molding, extrusion molding, and rotational molding are used to produce film products, daily necessities, and hollow containers of various sizes for industrial use, pipe materials, calendered tapes and tie tapes for packaging, ropes and cables, fishing nets, fibers for weaving, wires and cables, etc.
