V-CM 2 Features:
1. The V-CM2 is the new OEM diagnostic tool. It provides dealer-level diagnostics using the IDS software. 2. The V-CM 2 is the brand
new diagnostics interface from for use with the Integrated Diagnostics Software (IDS).
3. The V-CM2 and IDS provides full dealer diagnostic capabilities for most 16 pin .
4. The V-CM2 will be required for all new 2013 vehicles and is backwards compatible with most 16 pin Fds.
It supports the Vehicle Measurement Module (VMM) and new Customer Flight Recorder (CFR).
5. The V-CM 2 has shock resistant rubber ends, making it suitable for garage and workshop environments.
6. The CFR replaces the Vehicle Data Recorder (VDR).
7. The CFR is an optional cable that allows the V-CM 2 to monitor and record live data streams. This provides an advantage for technicians when diagnosing

Buyer Feedback:
Works as it should, follow directions to install, BUT, in step 4, when you plug the unit into the PC, run the VCI Manager(FORD)
first and select Connect, a green checkmark will be on the tool icon. Minimize the VCI Manager and leave it open. Next, run the
IDSPatch.exe, it will do its thing and open the IDS software. Now, whenever you use the V-CM2, open the VCI Manager and connect the
tool, then use the IDS software shortcut to run!! The J2534 Function works as it should. I also had to load up the VX Manager for my Nano to Update the license for the V-CM2. Its great that VX Manager can be used with this tool too
