PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Polyacrylamide, abbr. PAM, is a kind of water soluble polymer, has unique effect to increase the viscosity of water or to promote the flocculation of particles present in water, it can also reduce the frictional resistance between the liquid.

According to the different ion characteristics, PAM has three types: Anionic PAM, Cationic PAM and Nonionic PAM. It is widely used in many fileds like Water Treatment, Oil Exploration, Sludge Dewatering, Paper Making, Textile, Sugar Making, Coal washing and Incense Making, etc.

Anionic Polyacrylamide:

Anionic PAM is mainly used in minerals selection, metallurgy, coal washing, food, steel, spinning and papermaking industry which involves separation of solid-liquid and waste water treatment. Anionic PAM can also be used for oil well and oil extraction in oil industry, and retention aids and intensifier in papermaking industry.

Cationic Polyacrylamide:

Cationic polyacrylamide is mainly used as flocculants and dewatering reagents for industry waste water and sewage; retention aids and intensifier in paper making industry; waste water treatment in pharmaceutical, leather making, printing and dyeing industry waste water treatment, and organizer in textile industry.

Non-ionic Polyacrylamide:

Nonionic polyacrylamide is mainly used as flocculants with high selectivity in oil well fluid,and acidic waste water treatment.

Amphoteric Polyacrylamide:

Amphoteric polyacrylamide is mainly used high difficult waste water treatment or sludge dewatering reagents in oil refining and chemical industry or papermaking industry.

Water Treatment

Oil Exploration
Polyacrylamide is widely used in oil exploration, profile control, plugging agent, drilling fluids, fracturing fluids additives.

Paper Making
Save raw material, improve dry and wet strength, Increase stability of pulp, also used for treatment of wastewater of paper industry.

Textile
As a textile coating slurry sizing to reduce the loom short head and shedding, enhance the antistatic properties of textiles.

Suger Making
To accelerate the sedimentation of Cane sugar juice and sugar to clarify.

Incense Making
Polyacrylamide can enhance the bending force and scalability of incense.

Application Method:

How to make 0.1% polyacrylamide

1.Dissolved ratio: 0.1%-0.5%, namely add 1g-5g PAM to 1000ml water

2.Dissolution medium: clean tap water or pure water

3.Dissolution time: usually need about 40 minute

4.Stirring rate: 380 rpm/min ( We use magnetic stirring apparatus for making PAM aqueous solution)

Application notice:

1.It must be fully dissolved before it can be used. Otherwise, it will affect the use effect. 2.Please use plastic, ceramic & stainless steel ect vessel, please don't use iron vessel, it will make PAM degradation & invalidation 3.Please prepare PAM aqueous solution when you use, the PAM aqueous solution will invalidation when you don't use for a long time.
