Question:does it fit all ladders?
Answer:I would say so. There is a large spring to make it stable that would stretch to fit any ladder . It made the job on my gutters so easy . 20 minutes and the job was done . I would recommend you buy this product . I won’t be using it often but when I do I know it will make the task so much easier and safer . Buy it .
Question:Can this product be used on a standard ladder to convert it into a roof ladder to be used to clean a roof ?
Answer:A roof ladder normally has wheels to help you get it up the roof, I would certainly not try and use this standoff for roof ladder. However there are kits available at reasonable prices to convert a suitable ladder to a roof ladder, I have used one myself but can't remember who supplied it, sorry.
Question:what is the distance between a ladder and guttering when the standoff is attached?
Answer:You got between 12”to 15” inches depending on the pitch. Plenty of room to work with. Also the drainpipe clearance grove helps to get access all around the down pipe. Good stand-off for the price. Strong, secure. Cheap.
Question:how far away from the wall does it go please?
Answer:About 10 - 15 inchs
Question:What distance is it between the hooks? The top third of my 3srction ladder has quite narrow rungs.
Answer:My ones are 21cm at widest point where they hook onto ladder.
