Floodgate flood barrier
Floodgate flood barrier is a manually operated, reusable, demountable flood protection product designed for the temporary mitigation of flood risk and should be seen as part of a suite of measures to reduce the risk of flood water entering a property. It is not intended for installations providing permanent flood protection.
Floodgate consisting of an expanding metal frame with and industrial rubber jacket. requires no permanent fitting. Available in various sizes, the floodgate door barrier fits most doors and can expand in modular form. Supplied with adjustable spanner and sealant.
Floodgate’s main benefits are the speed that building occupants can put barriers in place (as little as 2 minutes per Floodgate)
The Flooding Solutions Advisory Group has developed an innovative two-piece support stanchion that enables the Floodgate Rapid Deployment idea to be applied to wider spans.
This Fast-Fit stanchion consists of a coupling mechanism permanently set in the slab or floor, into which a removable connecting bollard is inserted when needed. The two sections are joined simply by tightening a T bar on top of the shaft.
The Fast-Fit stanchion has significantly increased the number of uses for the Floodgate Rapid Deployment Barrier.Originally designed as for single residential doorways, Floodgate is now used to protect larger openings such as driveways and walkways.

The two ends of the water retaining plate are installed between the nippers of each pillar. These baffles overlap with each other through concave-convex coupling connection to form a flood barrier wall.
The aluminum flood gate is easy to install and disassemble. The side pillars on both sides of the wall and the pre-embedded parts of the center pillars on the ground are permanent works. Hollow aluminum plates can be freely disassembled. After disassembled, the ground is smooth and beautiful.
