This patina protects the steel from additional corrosion .It is a high strength steel alloy and it is used where higher strenght and longer life cycle material are desired .Especially in situations where untrested alloys are desired .Alot of trains ,bridge container buildings will be used in this weather resistant steel to the company to save costs,reduce corrosion losses.

Product Surface
Corten steel plate, another name is Weather resistant structural steel plate . The anticorrosive properties of weather resistant steel are better than those of other structural steels in many applications. The steel is self-protecting: the rust layer on the surface becomes a tight oxide layer that slows down the progress of corrosion.
Service
We have our own machining center and we can cut the product for you need. In the application about weather resistant steel plate we used to spray liquid medicine to make the surface rust. After rust-treatment, the surface will change color to yellow and the rust can protect the steel plate. What's more, you can spray another liquid medicine to protect the yellow surface .
