Sodium citrate

 

Product Characters: This product consists of colorless crystals or white crystalline powder, colorless, with a saline taste; It will lose crystal water at 150℃; with slight deliquescence in the wet air, with slightly weathered in the hot air, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol

Executive standards: BP2012/ USP35/ FCC8/ E331

Packaging: packaged in paper-plastic compound bags or 3-ply kraft paper bags of 25kg net each. Polypropylene bags of 500 or 1000kg net each.

Storage: kept in cool, dry, ventilated and light-proof places, to avoid mixed storage with toxic, odorous, and non-ferrous powders

Main Application: Sodium citrate is used as flavors, stabilizing agent, buffering agent, chelating agent, nutritional supplement of buttermilk, emulsifying agent and flavoring agent in food and beverage industry.
