Dibenzoyl peroxide (Dibenzoyl peroxide), also known as Benzoyl peroxide (Benzoyl superoxide), is a common name initiator of BPO.Benzoyl peroxide is white crystal powder, slightly bitter almond smell, soluble in benzene, chloroform, ether.Slightly soluble in ethanol and water.It can be used as initiator of polyvinyl chloride, unsaturated polyester, polyacrylate, etc.Benzoyl peroxide is a strong oxidant, easy to burn.

1. Free radical polymerization initiator and crossing-linking agent iin a wide variety of applications.
2. An effective intiator n the polymerization and co-polymerization of numerous vinyl monomers which include styrene,methyl methacrylate, acrylic esters,acrylonitrile, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, and ethylene.
3. An excellent ambient temperature iniitiator for unsaturated polyester resins.
