What's
Acetate ?
Cellulose acetate fiber, one of the earliest synthetic fibers, is based on cotton or tree pulp cellulose.
They are also impact resistant and more durable than plastic (although some people do refer to it as ‘nature’s plastic’). It’s been used to manufacture a wide range of natural plastics since about 1863.
Acetate fabric is used frequently in girl's Hairpins,glasses frame,ear rings and combs,wedding gowns and other bridal attire.
Its lustrous sheen and smooth, satiny texture make it a good synthetic alternative to silk.
