Pre-installation Precautions
1. Tip 1: Pre-installation
Testing Do not remove any protective film or labels while testing. Be aware of static electricity issues.
Be sure to put ESD (electrostatic discharge) straps on yourself before attempting any repairs. This will prevent static
electricity from damaging the electronics inside the phone.
Make sure you wear goggles and be careful not to cut your fingers with shards of glass.
2. Tip 2: Simulation Test
Screen replacement is a very fragile product. We strongly recommend testing before installation. Please simulate the test, which
means the phone is separated, (motherboard + LCD or screen) connect the audio cable and new replacement, power on, the test is
done. If the test is successful, install it. If it cannot be displayed, please contact us as soon as possible. And please don't
force it to be installed in the phone. Once the screen is installed, we will not be responsible.
3. Tip 3: Do not overbend the cable
Please make sure the LCD cable is not overbend. Bending more than 90 degrees will result in a black display.
