The Fahint’ UL/cU Listed Self-Test GFCI automates the process and performs a self-test function every fifteen minutes. Compared with the old version GFCI, it added an extra level of safety, testing itself to make sure that protected power is available. If the Self-Test detects any condition that would indicate GFCI protection might be compromised, visual indicators provide an alert. The GFCI will automatically interrupt power and /or provide visual indication of impairment, requiring replacement of the device.
