Membrane keypads using conductive silver technology


Of course, we also offer membrane keypads which make use of conductive silver technology. In most cases, our customers like this technology when financial aspects are the main factor. The membrane keypads are manufactured entirely using silk screen printing, so it is easy to create individual designs. It is possible to integrate components with membrane keypads which use conductive silver technology. However, the results are not so sturdy, and are more likely to experience silver migration than when integrated in other keypad technologies. When compared to a membrane keypad with copper-laminated base membranes, membrane keypads which use conductive silver technology can more quickly reach their technical limits when there are applications with many keys (and/or LEDs) on a small area.
