Premium Carbide-Tipped Bandsaw Blade
When you need a durable, long lasting bandsaw blade to handle cutting extra hard & dense wood, highly abrasive wood or dulling fiberboard or plywood,
our premium grade carbide-tipped bandsaw blades are a welcomed solution.
The tips on these blades are created from a special blend of US tungsten carbide with hardness and are ground with a unique triple chip shape for cutting efficiency.
A tempered steel backer provides optimum beam strength, while reducing band fatigue for a longer life.
The 1/2" wide x 3 TPI hook tooth band is .025" thick. The 3/4" wide x 3 TPI hook tooth band is .035" thick.
The 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch wide blades are perfectly appropriate for straight line ripping and resawing.
Carbide tipped bandsaw blades are the cat with nine lives of bandsaw blades, vastly out-lasting standard blades.
Though this longevity comes with a higher price, extra demanding jobs that need a blade that can take a licking but will keep on cutting will be best served using a carbide tipped blade.
