This is a non-absorbable braided thread for surgical suture, a combination of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, this fiber was produced by DSM company(Dyneema fiber) which has through the test of Biocompatibility. With a proprietary braid design that creates a strong, durable, pliable, and lubricious suture. 

-Inter-locking core technology provides all-fiber configurations with a sturdy core within the center of the suture to act as a backbone for better knot tying and handling characteristics

-Excellent strength: stronger than steel under the same size

-High flexible, weight light

-More abrasion resistance when compared to polyester

-E-braid construction for better handling and excellent knot strength

-Vibrant tracer colors with tri-axial patterns for enhanced visibility

UHMWPE Suture now includes additional USP sizes (5-0 through 10), more patterns (including cross and stripe), and a wide selection of solids and multi-colored sutures, including blue, white, green, white/blue, green/white, white/black, and white/green.
