Non-Rotating Protectors (NRPs)
Common drill protectors are all fixed on the drill pipe and rotary as the drill pipe. In order to reduce the friction from the
rotary drill pipe and upper casing in the horizontal well and extended reach well, we develop the NPRs which drill pipe rotate
while it is non-rotate when drilling.
NPRs ensure minimal casing wear, increased stability and reduced shock and vibration in the drill string. It is consist of four
parts, sleeve, upper thrust collar, lower thrust collar and alloy steel bolts
