Overview: carboxymethyl chitosan is a water-soluble chitosan derivative. It is an amphoteric polyelectrolyte. It is formed by introducing hydrophilic group ch2cooh into the chitosan polymer chain. After carboxymethylation modification, the water solubility of chitosan is improved, especially in neutral and alkaline solutions, so that it has the characteristics of film-forming, thickening, moisturizing and chelating, Therefore, it is widely used in agriculture, health products, cosmetics, preservation, environmental protection and so on.
