We have always insisted on making forged steel, and each piece of steel has been repeatedly forged manually to increase its density, toughness, wear resistance, and sharpness, and its quality to a higher level!
Damascus Steel: Forged 67-layer sandwich steel 10Cr15CoMoV
Damascus Steel Bar:
1: After you get it, you can directly wire-cut and shape the V, and polish the 400#-2000# sub-mirror effect with a grinder. The oil on the surface must be cleaned up. Soak the product in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, and then use hydrochloric acid/dilute sulfuric acid (battery Water)...soak in acid for 30 seconds to 10 minutes (different acids and different concentrations have different pickling effects. It is recommended to test more pickling to achieve your own satisfactory results)
2: After pickling, rinse with clean water for 1-2 minutes, then soak in alkaline water (soap water/washing powder) or lime water for 5 minutes to neutralize the residual acid, then rinse with water, dry and wipe with lubricating oil, cooking oil or anti-rust The oil can be maintained once.
Note: Due to the forging relationship, each of the steel bar clamp steel wires cannot be exactly the same flat and thick, and the pattern on the two sides of the steel is also slightly different. For the Damascus clamp steel knife, the steel wire must be slightly trimmed to achieve symmetry on both sides. Those who mind, shoot carefully!
