Gl Wire consists of 3 types: Electric galvanized wire

Hot-dipped galvanized wire

Galfan(Zinc-Aluminum Coating)

 

Feature and application:

 

 

 

1. Material: Iron wire, steel wire

 

2. Wire Gauge: BWG 6-30#(0.3-5.0mm)

 

3. Zinc Coated: Hot-dipped Gl wire: 30-300g/m2

Electric Gl wire: 8-50g/m2

Galfan: 90-95%(Zinc) 5-10%(Aluminum)

 

4. Thickness of Coating: Hot-dipped Gl wire: 45-300μm

Electric Gl wire: 3-15μm

 

5. Tensile Strength: 300-550Mpa

 

6. Elongation: 20-30%

 

7. Features:

 

A---Electro Gl Wire: Zinc-coating layer is thinner than it of hot dipped gl wire, but more

economic, looks very bright, anti-corrosion

 

B---Hot-dipped Gl Wire: Thick and firm coating layer, better performance in anti-corrosion than

electro gl wire

C---Galfan: Very good performance in anti-corrosion, 2-3 times the ability to anti corossion of

traditional galvanization, mainly used in weaving gabion box
