Silicone Scar Patches
The water vapor permeability of scar patch is less than half of that of normal skin, which makes the stratum corneum retain water. After the skin absorbs water, it inhibits the regeneration of capillaries, thus reducing the deposition of collagen. At the same time, the increase of water content in the stratum corneum can increase the permeability of water-soluble protein and products in the stratum corneum, rapidly spread, make the scar soften and fade, lighten the pigment, and relieve the itching pain. The results showed that silicone oil released slowly from silica gel membrane could inhibit the increase of fibroblasts in scar tissue, thus inhibiting the formation of hypertrophic scar. The scar patch is suitable for hypertrophic scars and keloids. It can reduce the scar area and lighten the color caused by burns, trauma and surgery.
Usage Method
1. Scar stickers should be used at least 12 hours a day, preferably 24 hours, for 2-4 months
2. In order to avoid skin allergy, the gradual application method can be used to make the skin adapt gradually
3. Each patch can be used repeatedly for 14-28 days. When the scar patch becomes difficult to clean or paste, another patch needs to be replaced
Tips: apply 4 hours a day for the first two days, 8 hours a day for the next two days, and then increase by 2 hours a day until you can apply 24 hours a day
