Hangzhou Shira Industry Co., Ltd. is located in a beautiful city in Zhejiang province – Hangzhou, where it’s renowned for West
Lake, green tea, and Alibaba. Born in a small town in Zhejiang Province, as a child June often helped out her family who used to
operate a plastic products factory in the 1980s. She grew up seeing various kinds of plastic bottles, tubes, and packages made
from the manufacturing streamline. After spending 4 years at a publicly listed pharmaceutical company, June was determined to go
back to her alma mater Northeastern University in Boston for its prestigious master’s program in Regulatory Affairs of Drugs and
Medical Devices. June Chen has a dream since she selected this major - “to improve the health condition of humanity at every step
through the health system”. Many years later, when she graduated (again) from the NEU, 90% of her classmates were recruited by
global pharmaceutical companies and national regulatory bodies, yet she decided to go back to China and establish her own company
following her parents’ path. As she found a huge gap in the medical procurement process between the buyers and the suppliers
leading to significant inefficiency and delay in the healthcare world. This was clearly demonstrated during COVID-19 and it’s been
an extremely rewarding experience for June to have made her contribution helping her hospital and pharmaceutical clients saving
lives and developing vaccines. Following our founder June’s vision, at Shira we are dedicated to helping organizations who need
medical products procure with a faster turnaround, reliable quality, and at a lower cost. With 3 years of development, Shira has
become a trusted partner by international companies including BMS, Takada, GE, J&J, and Labviva, etc., covering countries
including U.S.A, Canada, U.K, Italy, Israel and South East Asia.
