Sanhuan brand brass brazing filler metal has a high melting point and can be used for brazing materials such as low carbon steel, cast iron, nickel alloy and hard alloy knives. It is used with 301 flux when brazing, and the brazing joint has higher strength and better Plasticity.
Copper-zinc alloy as a brazing filler metal is mainly used for gas flame brazing, high frequency brazing, salt bath immersion brazing, brazing of copper, copper alloys, nickel, steel, and cemented carbides. Before brazing, it is necessary to strictly remove the oily dirt and oxide dirt on the brazing part and the surface of the brazing material. The best gap of the brazing joint is 0.025-0.1mm. When brazing with oxygen-acetylene flame, heating with oxidizing flame can reduce the evaporation of zinc in the brazing filler metal. The brazing heating time should be kept as short as possible, and overheating should be avoided to avoid excessive oxidation at the joints to form porous welds. When brazing, it needs to be used together with brazing solvent to obtain a good brazing seam.
