PETG resin Is a kind of transparent, an amorphous type copolyester, PETG commonly used for copolymerization monomer 1, 4 - cyclohexane two methanol (CHDM, Cylclohexylenedimethylene), called the polyethylene terephthalate - 1, 4 - cyclohexane 2 methyl ester.It is made of terephthalic acid (PTA), ethylene glycol (EG) and 1, 4-cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM) three monomers with transesterification condensation products, compared with PET more 1, 4-cyclohexane dimethanol comonomer, and PCT more than ethylene glycol comonomer, therefore, the performance of PETG and PET, PCT is very different.
