1. Pharmaceutical industry:
Potassium chloride is widely used in clinical departments.
Potassium chloride is used for the treatment and prevention of hypokalemia caused by various causes (insufficient food intake, vomiting, severe diarrhea, use of potassiumdraining diuretics or long-term use of glucocorticoid and adrenocortical stimulating hormone, potassiumloss nephropathy, Bartter syndrome, etc.). It can also be used for frequent and multi-source premature beats or tachyarrhythmia caused by cardiac and renal edema as well as digitalis and other cardioside poisoning.
2. Agriculture:
Potassium chloride in agriculture is a potash fertilizer.
Potassium chloride fertilizer effect is fast, directly applied to the farmland, can make the soil water level rise, has the effect of drought resistance.

Potassium chloride is used in food processing.
