Silicone coated fiberglass cloth is a fibreglass based fabric which has been coated with our specially formulated silicone rubber compound. It provides greater abrasion puncture and tear resistance to our base fibreglass cloth. It provides great life, water and oil resistance.
Silicone coated fabrics are perfect choice for protecting a variety of hoses, lines, wires, cables and equipment assemblies such as electronic enclosures, valves, robotic heads, festoon cables, EAF cables, etc., from exposure to high temperature, molten metal splash, slag, welding splatter, UV light, abrasion and contamination. It has special characteristic, such as high temperature-resistance, ventilate-resistance, and it is very soft and tenacious, so it can apply in the fields of aerospace, chemistry and big electrical equipments, machinery and metallurgy.
