Q1.What is the service life of the pen-type ph meter?

This meter can be used all the time if it’s not broken. The service life is generally more than one year. Store in the dark. If it is used to measure strong acid and alkali, service life will be affected.

Q2.What can be measured? Can strong acids and alkali be tested?

As long as it’s solution, it can be tested by this meter, some viscous samples like shampoo can also be tested, but solids cannot. For soil and fabric, it needs to be mixed with water according to the ratio. Strong acid and alkali can be tested, but it will greatly affects the service life of the electrode. This is inevitable even if you buy a much expensive acidity meter.

Q3.What is the battery like?

The battery is an ordinary battery cell, which is sold in hardware stores. Generally, the pH meter will automatically shut down if it is not used for a period of time to maintain the service life.

Q4.Will the reading change when the meter is taken out of the solution?

Our pen type pH meter is equipped with a HOLD button. After the reading is stable, you can press the HOLD button to freeze the reading.
