Taeda 8D series pin mixer granulator is updated granulating machine specially designed for carbon black. We developed this kind of pin mixer granulator under entrust of Nanyang Special Carbon Co. Ltd and based cooperation with designing institute. In terms of appearance, 8D series pin mixer granulator is similar to common 9Z series type machine. But their pelletizing/granulating mechanism and design details are totally different.
Working principle of 8D series pin mixer granulator: under the function of the surface tension of liquid binder, fine powder gather together and form spherical shape owing to rolling and collision. We designed optional steam jacket for 8D series pin mixer granulator, quick-open door and automatic power adjustment system for pin-mixing shaft. Whole series pelleting/granulating drums are lined with stainless steel. Mixing teeth can be set with replaceable abrasion-resistant alloy head.
