Wellyoung acoustic perforated gypsum board is designed on the basis of helholtz resonance theorem. After perforation, the holes, board and the wall make up of many resonant cavities, when air molecules pass the holes, the resonant cavities will consume large quantities of sound energy. Perforated boards have been designed for the usage of ceilings and walls, where an increased level of sound attenuation is required. The acoustic property of the board is achieved by perforations of the board surface that absorbing sound to reduce echoes and reverberation.
