It's ok to add the emergency handle/knob on the machine to make it safer. The handle/knob is used for getting out the film/photo/paper/documents out if be jammed or electricity off suddenly.

It's ok to add the cooling fans on the back of the machine to help the machine be cooled in short time, and protect the machine. It will be helpful especially in the hot subber or the machine is always long-lasting work.
