Product Description

Due to the high refractive index (1.63~1.65), the color is whiter and has a certain hiding power. It is almost insoluble in water, ethanol and acid, but soluble in hot sulfuric acid. It is easy to make mixed crystals with potassium permanganate, calcium carbonate or metal nitrate. It can be reduced to barium sulfide with carbon at high temperature. It is an important basic chemical raw material.

Main uses: used as raw materials or fillers for paints, coatings, inks, plastics, rubber and storage batteries; surface coating agents for printing paper and art paper; sizing agents for the textile industry; clarifying agents in glass products, which can be used To defoam and increase gloss.
