This Stabilizer is an important tool for preventing the well from tilting in drilling, which is suitable in the drilling process of oil, gas or geological survey for special use in order to stabilize the drilling tools. In the case of fitting out some rigid drill collar and at larger drilling pressure, it can lessen the variation degree of the position and the well inclination. When drilling a vertical well, it can lessen the deviation of the drilling bit so as to keep its vertical drilling. When drilling a directional well, it acts for increasing, decreasing or stabilizing its tilting degree and guarantees the position of the well hole, so as to promote the quality of the well body and the drilling velocity. Thus, the drilling stabilizer is an absolutely necessary tool used underground for drilling wells, especially the directional wells.
There are two kinds of Type LX Drilling Stabilizer, that is the drilling column type and the bottom hole type Both provide 3-spiral and 4-spiral types. They are manufactured by high-grade steel and advanced technological processing. The stabilizer’s working surface at its outer diameter is inlaid either by cylindrical hard alloy or pile-up welded by ananti-abrasive layer, with the hardness no less than 55HRC. Therefore, it results in many advantages, such as simple structure,anti-bending, anti-pressing, strong rigidity, good anti-abrasive performance, small rotatory resistance, etc.
In operation, 3-5 LX Drilling Stabilizers are formed a group, distinguished into three positions, the upper, the middle and the lower. The lowest one of the stabilizers is of bottom hole type and the connection at each end is the negative buckle which makes the connecting distance to the drilling bit being the shortest, so as to guarantee the stabilized effect. For the upper one of the stabilizer, it is installed at the first bending point of tangency of the drilling collar, thus making it located at the center of the drilling hole. 1-3 stabilizers are of drilling column type and can be installed at the middle position, depending upon the conditions in site. The connection at each end is the negative buckle at the upper end and the positive one at the lower end.Torsion back-off operation is forced to perform.
