Product features

Impact resistance performance refers to the ability of curtain wall to resist hail, strong wind, flying objects, birds and other outdoor impact and indoor personnel and objects impact. Impact resistance is a requirement for the bearing capacity of curtain wall materials under impact load. The impact force of curtain wall depends on the weight, form, stiffness and impact speed of the object.

The device consists of three tires, four weights, a connecting rod and a steel wire rope for hanging the impactor.

1. At the maximum landing height, the horizontal angle between the hanging wire rope and the horizontal plane of the hanging point is more than 14 degrees;

2. The exposed height of both sides of counterweight block is less than or equal to 100 mm;

3. The tire meets the requirements of Table 2 in GB / t2983-2013, and the tire internal pressure is (0.35 ± 0.02) MPa;

4. When the impact object and suspension wire rope are in free state, the distance between the outer edge of tire and the surface of test piece is more than 5mm and less than 15mm;

5. The geometric center of the impact object is located in a circle with a radius of 50 mm at the impact point.

The release device of the impact object can accurately locate the lifting height of the impact object, keep the center line of the impact object and the center line of the suspension wire rope in the same direct line, and the impact object will fall freely after being released.
