The Company “Sapori di Bosco Molisani” was born in 2002 and has a family management. The original idea was born because of a strong passion for truffle and its picking. The passion is encouraged by the richness of this tuber in Molise Region; moreover in this territory there are a lot of woods and fertile soils, perfect for the spontaneous birth of truffle.
In fact Molise Region produces the 40% of Italian production of truffle. The Company mainly manufactures and transforms summer black and white truffle and Edible boletus mushrooms.
The manufacturing process uses a traditional method, choosing carefully row materials and processing the products naturally, without adding conservatives and colouring.
The manufacturing process, finishes with the sterilization of the products that keep the original taste but, at the same time, are absolutely safe; very modern and upgraded machinery is used to produce a safe and certificated product with a genuine and unalterated taste.
The company mainly works on the transformation on truffles, porcini mushrooms, and vegetables of Molise Region producing truffle paté, truffle sauces, vegetable creams, products in oil and oil aromatized with truffle.
